WebFeed the fish tape to the wiring and connect the wiring to the hook on the end of the tap. Wrap the connection in a thin layer of electrical tape to help keep wiring secure. Return to the other end of the fish tape and slowly reel it toward yourself. The fish tape will pull the wire through the wall or conduit until you can see it on your end. WebPut a slight bend in the end of your tape, maybe 12 inches in, so that the end of the tape kinks in the opposite way of the coil, this will help it ride the wall cavity as opposed to cooling back in to itself. Also, cut off a piece for your helper, maybe 6-10 feet. Put a decent sized hook in the end.
