Web11 Jan 2016 · Posted 10 January, 2016. I just now noticed some blue ish smoke which seemed to come from the front of the engine bay, whilst I was parked with the engine idling. I think the car may have been doing a regen as the revs were at 10K. However, there was no fan when the engine was off. I had only driven for 5 mins and had filled up with diesel. Web27 Feb 2024 · Regarding the smoke, it is still there, it's not a huge amount and it goes away as soon as the engine hits the running temp (around 80 degrees), however it is quite noticeable when starting up the car and idling when the engine is cold. Just to be sure the garage will be having a full inspection and test with STAR on my car in two weeks.
