When i got my 63 it already had a c6 in it, But they had put the old fmx [ 153 tooth] flex plate in it, With a late model starter, The old gal did not like that, it sounded terrible, but it did start. When i pulled the motor out i replaced the flex plat with a 184 tooth count and a late model starter.
