WebI'm playing ToB and am having trouble keeping my Fyrd units around. I could recruit 54 fyrd units, so I did. Had 3 battles, gained 2 new major settlements and 1 minor yet I can only have 39 Fyrd units now. I've watched multiple videos about playing as West Seaxe and none have mentioned that the number of units you can drop by gaining settlements. WebThe vassal pays 20% of its income to, and gains military protection from, the vassal master; any third party that declares war on one automatically declares war on both. Likewise, going to war with a vassal master triggers an automatic declaration of war against their vassals. Vassals are not slaves to their vassal masters.
